They ban nipples but not a billionaire pulling in in their half a billion illegally built yatch to honor his wife who is a "environmental activist" but her body has more plastic than the ocean
You've made me reconsider buying a half a billion and one dollar yacht, not to mention the search for a woman wanting a Humility Award in return for fake boobs bigger than Sanchez's. But you've put me in an awkward social position since billionaires, like Bezos and me, are supposed to compete in the media we own and bribe. I'm fearing the inevitable incel billionaire mental disaster. That comes with blowback on fingerpointers. Don't worry, you won't be alone 'cause I'll blame all women who are so poor they can only make moral statements. If you were rich, you wouldn't be so selfish with your comments.
PS: I've been persuaded to cancel my intention to make a Cannes post from far away that would have been read by at least 100 people.
Cannes is a FILM festival - not a show off festival. If you’re not there to sit in a theatre and watch, celebrate and further the film industry (rather than just yourself in the world Olympics of narcissism) then quite rightly that space should be left open for people who love and enjoy film.
I don’t like looking at that because I respect people for their mind - not their looks. Imagine that, using your mind rather than your body to enrich the world. Perhaps the multitude of people out there with strong minds can speak out about how others are contributing to the objectification of their gender.
Looky here, I guess I'm indifferent when it comes to fashion. I couldn't care less what the women on the red carpet or on the runway are wearing. I'm just looking at them. In fact I'd rather see them in nothing at all. Whether it's clothes off the rack at Wal mart or designer thing it's all just in the way. So a dress that costs 10,000 dollars is just a waste of 10,000 dollars. When it comes to admiring women it's impossible to improve on them in their birthday suits. So people who are into fashion are just clothing nerds.
I just want to say I stumbled across you on twitter and have read through some of your writing and am absolutely a fan now. Every beat. Such a unique voice! Which is so rare these days. I hope I get to chat with you live one day

Cannot wait for when the red carpet will turn beige and Cannes will be again a film festival. By the way, who are these people?
My issue: you can’t rail against the objectification of women when they insist on objectifying themselves. Pick a lane ladies.
Too bad they didn’t ban Bezos’ yacht. Way more of an effrontery to human sensibilities than skimpy outfits,
Good! We don’t need to see constant nudity it’s just unimaginative and very very very overdone.
When I see a woman dressed like some of the red carpet types, she looks like a walking venereal disease.
This made me laugh. And I won’t be able to unsee that now.
Just ugly
The opening paragraph brilliant. Such a sharp tongue.
Who wants to see bulbous, fat lips, an over-extended bosom, and a fat (sorry, skinny) derriere?
Such a waste of time, effort, and money.
They are unlikely to wear that dress ever again.
So much constant pressure to look good—no wonder half of them are senile and arrogant!

As beautiful as the female body may be I agree. No one wants to see your tits, ass nor anything else you care to expose. Give us a break!

Limitations breed creativity.
They look like sluts. Maybe not nice to say, but really
